Sandra brings 25+ years of experience in all facets of public relations agency, corporate, freelance capacities to the BBPR, Inc. team. Her agency affiliations have included Burson-Marsteller, Ketchum, Porter Novelli and Manning, Selvage & Lee and she has represented such widely recognized brands as RE/MAX, Coca-Cola, the California Lottery, Six Flags, Kodak, AT&T, M&M Mars, Tylenol and Flying Tigers (now FedEx). Additional experience includes the aerospace/defense, entertainment software/home video, food service, medical/healthcare and consumer products industries among others.

Sandra specializes in comprehensive campaign development and implementation; strategic media relations, maintaining strong national, regional and local press contacts with broadcast, print and electronic media; corporate and financial communications; employee, stakeholder and business-to-business engagement; press conferences, media tours, trade shows, film markets and special events; speaker/media training; crisis/reputation management; branding; sports marketing; and corporate etiquette. Some key strengths she brings to the table include (but are not limited to): impeccable written and verbal communications abilities – skilled at crafting clear, concise messages tailored for specific goals and targeted audiences (she knows the "AP Stylebook" inside-out); media relations “shark” with high placement percentages; and new media marketing and social networking savvy.

The Texas native graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Journalism degree – public relations specialization. She and her husband of 20+ years, a Santa Monica, Calif. native, reside on the Los Angeles Westside; they have two “children” – kitties Jake and Eddie. She is an active community volunteer who “feeds her soul and spirit” through camping, hiking and traveling with her husband to historic, unusual and/or scenic places. She holds a California Department of Real Estate Broker license and an amateur (“Ham”) radio license.
